One is a great song. Not sure if anyone has seen the actual movie that is is based on. It is called "Johnny Got His Gun". I think it is from 1971. It was an anti war movie based around a WWI soldier. Rather depressing movie, I just made my wife watch it. It's long and drawn out but not a bad movie. When you see it, you can really understand what the lyrics of the song are about.
We have a primal instinct (an unlearned, inherent psychopathy) to form raiding parties and raid other peoples.
This is why we have games like football and basketball. Even tho we are not playing on the field it is very much a deep seated psychological fraternity of us or them. This is also why soccer matches (nation vs nation) can erupt into riots.
Our troops are the real deal. It literally is us vs them. That US includes me and you and every US citizen, let's not forget that.
Songs of war are really love songs in disguise, explicitly clear declarations of devotion and sacrifice.
I love Metallica, everything they have done. Ya know all of those albums fans didnt like, had a new band made those albums they would have been huge, great shit.
As for the embedding error, Warner Music Group is makign their own artists take down their videos, just as if they were some yahoo "illegally" uploading official content.
This link is from the official Metallica channel...
